DevLog #1 New buttons and better day ending
Devlog — New buttons and better day ending
What’s new in this update
1️⃣ Inspect button
You now have a proper Inspect button.
When you check a traveller’s papers, you can use Inspect to look at the details more carefully, instead of just quickly scanning everything.
2️⃣ Ask button when something is wrong
If something is wrong with the documents (like a bad date of birth, wrong name, or anything that doesn’t match), the game now shows an Ask button.
When you press Ask, you can question the traveller about that problem.
This means you are not just denying them in silence. You can react to the issue first.
3️⃣ Special travellers
Some travellers are now linked to each other.
You might see someone again, or notice that two different people are connected in some way.
This helps the border feel more like a real place, not just a random line of people.
4️⃣ New end-of-day screen
The end of the workday is now more clear:
- When you are done, you sign the paper to finish your shift.
- Then you actually go home. You can see your home and your character going to sleep.
- Your money is updated here, and your basic needs are paid for if needed. This way, your balance makes more sense and doesn’t just change for no reason.
I am still adjusting how hard the workday feels and how fast the days move.
If you try this version, I would love to hear what you think about it.
